West Moss-side on the Internet

Pascal Carr is new to West Moss-side as a tutor in his own right.  He is partner with Catherine Davies in the new basket making business All about Willow. he has been working on larger pieces.  His work is in the traditional style of Scottish and Irish baskets. 

He really got into the weaving following Catherine's shoulder injury in 2004 where he was able to help her with larger pieces.  He is now a trained willow basket maker and teacher.  Pascal and Catherine have a croft on Eigg where they grow the willow for their baskets.  One of the characteristics of the work is the wonderful use of a huge variety of coloured willow.
