| Title |
Introduction to Rush Work with Susie Bishop |
| Description |
Susie has been working in rush for many years - she uses rush for chair seating but also makes all kinds of useful and decorative pieces - from pouches and baskets, to mats and hats. River rush is a beautiful silky natural material and has been used for 1000s of years throughout northern Europe.
In this workshop you will learn the techniques of working with rush. It is just a one day course so you will be learning fast but you will create a beautiful piece to take home and you will be able to continue enjoying the craft for ever more - warning - it is very addictive! |
About the tutor
