Course Details - Round Decorative Fruit Bowl

This is another special opportunity to work with Georgia on a two day workshop. This workshop will extend your skills in using willow. The bowl with allow you to learn new weaves and borders. Georgia is the author of the well used book Basket Making. She had a wonderful exhibition at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh this spring so it is really fantastic that she has again agreed to share some of her knowledge here at West Moss-side.

Title Round Decorative Fruit Bowl with Georgia Crook

Over the weekend you will create a beautiful open round bowl in brown willow. Different varieties of willow will give you lovely colour differences which will be further enhanced by the new weaves which Georgia will teach.  She will demonstrate the different  weaves and borders, so this is a perfect workshop for those who want more practice and to develop their 'portfolio' of techniques using willow.
