This is a a special opportunity to work with Georgia on a two day workshop to explore the possibilities of using a variety of willow and natural materials to create special unique baskets and pieces. Georgia is the author of the well used book Basket Making. She has developed the techniques of combining different materials into her baskets, so it is really fantastic that she has agreed to share some of her knowledge here at West Moss-side

Yurts will run this introductory yurt making workshop. A day to
learn something of the culture and life of the Central Asian nomad and
get involved with the practicalities of hand-crafting the traditional
kyrgyz steam bent construction.
